For the academic year 2023/24, we are looking for a passionate, committed English Teacher to inspire our Grade 6, 7 and 8 students and be part of a great team.

Required: immediately - end of July 2024

Berlin British School is a small, friendly international school that has also officially been granted the status of an authorised Ersatzschule by the Berlin Senate. At BBS, we are experienced in combining the best of British, international and German education to students aged 2-18, drawn from over sixty different nationalities.

Applicants should have the minimum qualifications of a Bachelor’s degree from a respected university.

Voraussetzungen

Qualities and Qualifications:

·         Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in relevant subject

·         Teaching qualification

·         Two years teaching experience preferred. The successful candidate will teach across the Secondary age range (11 to 14 years old)

·         Caring interaction with pupils and special attention to creating relationships built on trust

·         Interest in developing and implementing new educational concepts; dedication and team spirit

·         Empathy and openness towards other cultures
