Strategic Buyer (f/m/d)
Ihre Aufgaben
- Act as the lead of all Purchasing and SCM processes for various categories (focus plastic and packaging) and be responsible for shipment on time.
- Follow up new item product development and identify potential problems.
- Proactively performing sourcing and follow up of offer samples with suppliers.
- You will carry out high-quality procurement market research and develop medium- and long-term strategies
- Train and guide employees in the field of SCM, logistics and project purchasing
- Work with subsidiaries, warehouse, and logistics departments to determine and set up intercompany transfers
- Reviewing supplier performance by evaluating their price competitiveness, efficiency of feedback to inquiries/changes, can-do attitude, on-time delivery, response to problems/complaints, etc.
- Organize the movement of goods from warehouse to distribution centres/customers and manage inventories
- Being sensitive to market trends, quality requirement updates, exchange rate, material price trends, future availability of materials and goods; locating vendors; etc.
- Ensuring suppliers’ compliance with contract/PO provisions.
Voraussetzungen
- Proven working experience in Purchasing and Supply Chain Management
- Good management skills, market researching tactics, communication and negotiation skills, financial management skills are essential
- 3+ years of supply chain, purchasing, or warehouse management experience
- English verbal and written communications skills
- German would be a plus
- Good skills working with MS Office, SAP and SharePoint
- Strong listening, presentation, and decision-making skills
- Minimum Bachelor degree in business, finance, or economic related field
