Are you ready to make a significant impact as a key player in IT support within one of our dynamic product companies in Germany? Atlas Copco, a global industrial group, invites you to be a part of our growth journey through acquisitions. For our recent addition, LEWA GmbH, we are actively seeking an inclusive and talented IT Team Lead based in Leonberg, Germany.
This exciting opportunity is situated within the Power Technic business area of the Atlas Copco group and reports directly to the IT Manager for the DACH region (Germany – Austria – Switzerland).
Your Impact:
Leadership
- Manage and lead a diverse team of local IT support engineers
- Empower your team to achieve success in their mission
- Develop and coach team members, fostering their full potential
Stakeholder Management
- Act as an IT business partner for the local business community
- Capture local business requirements and translate them into regional/global solutions
- Collaborate closely with the broader IT services organization and business area
- Promote and coordinate the local implementation of regional or global solutions
Local Operations
- Drive standardization and compliance for local infrastructure and applications
- Manage local infrastructure, including network (SDWAN, WLAN, LAN), server hosting, PCs, and application support
- Understand local application dependencies, coordinate support, and manage vendors and licenses in alignment with business goals
- Identify opportunities to replace local applications with regional/global solutions
- Ensure incidents and requests are resolved according to agreed SLA’s
Project Management
- Manage/coordinate/support local (IT) projects
- Assist in the implementation of regional/global solutions for the local entity
Voraussetzungen
To Succeed, you will need
- Experience in successfully managing support teams
- Proven leadership track record

- Knowledge of industry technologies and IT best practices
- Familiarity with standard IT processes and methodologies (ITIL, PMI, SDLC)
- Technical background in one or more of the following areas: Network: SDWAN, LAN, WLAN, Firewall, ZScaler, Server Hosting: VMware, Storage, Cloud: Azure Cloud, End User Computing: SCCM, Intune, Active Directory
- Comfortable working in a highly matrix global environment
- Ability to implement standards and operating metrics

Educational Requirements
- Higher education or equivalent experience
- Fluency in German & English, spoken and written
- ITIL Certification
- Technology certifications are a plus
Qualifications:
- Over 5 years of experience in a similar position with a large company
