Ihre Aufgaben

› Characterization and analysis of microelectronic devices › Developing correct device models and identifying model deficiencies › Performing device model extractions from measured data › Preparation of technical documentation for new device developments › Generation, calibration and verification of Spice model parameters and their quality check › Support of method development for permanent improvement of model accuracy under consideration of statistical methods as well as reliability aspects › Verification of interconnect models and layout parasitic extraction › Design of simple and complex (circuit block level) test structures for model generation and model verification › Contributions to the further development and maintenance of an optimized modeling infrastructure (hardware/software)

Voraussetzungen

› An university degree in the field of electrical engineering, microelectronics or semiconductor technology/physics or a related discipline › Initial experience with commonly used modeling tools (ICCAP, MBP, BsimProPlus) › In-depth knowledge of semiconductor device function, fabrication, characterization, and measurements › Advanced knowledge of device simulation environments including their challenges related to pre/post layout (SPICE), parasitic extraction and Design verification › Programming experience (Python, R, SKILL) and confidence in using data analysis and statistical methods › It is an advantage if you understand the requirements in analog design, aging, matching and noise › You work solution-oriented and well organized › You use your very good knowledge of the English language in a multicultural working environment
