The mission of the Facilities Manager (m/w/d) is to establish and maintain global standards, metrics and best practices for the building and building systems maintenance and security concept. You will the first point of contact and responder for all Facilities Maintenance and Services questions and shall manage a Facilities Specialist, the outsourced local security guard and reception team as well as service providers at the Großkugel (near Leipzig) facility, working closely with the centralized EMEA Facilities Helpdesk. 

Ihre Aufgaben

• Establish and maintain global standards and best practices measured by service and site-specific metrics for all Facilities Maintenance and Services at the Großkugel site.
• Actively manage all local Facilities Maintenance employees, outsourced staff and service providers.
• Act as local Fire & Work Safety Officer; responsible to maintain a fire concept and assist in workplace safety improvements.
• Point of contact for environmental control systems, including alarm response.
• Point of contact for the Environment, Health & Safety organization, as well as for the relevant authorities and property insurer.
• Conduct small ad-hoc repairs to solve technical issues in due course.
• Maintain global Computerized Maintenance Management System.
• Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and standards and preventive maintenance regimes for all building systems and (environmental) control systems.
• Partner with regional Facilities colleagues to establish a best-in-class Facilities Maintenance and Services experience.

Voraussetzungen

• Bachelor’s or advanced degree in a technical or related field.
• Profound work and project experience in facilities management for a warehouse or manufacturing site in a global environment. 
• Strong leadership, communication and people management skills.
• Strong technical skills and understanding as well as experience with technical building installations.
• Commitment to service, self-organization and managing all Facilities aspects independently.
• Ability to understand complex technical systems and maintenance organization.
• Fluency in German and English.
• Experience in bio-pharma, medical/diagnostics, life science related or logistics companies is a plus. 
• Experience with audits and disclosure practices is a plus.
• Flexibility to travel occasionally.
